We tried and and it failed. They kept asking for the same info over and over. Finally I asked why did I have to keep sending in the same info. The lady said, "Well if you just paid your mortgage you would not be in this mess." I have read that very few loan modifications are actually being accepted. We are now in foreclosure and waiting for notice of the auction. Good luck to you but I would not get my hopes up to high.
